3. How We Use Information
- to create and administer your account and provide the Platform's features, including listings, messaging, RFQs, and buyer/supplier matching;

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The Platform uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate, secure, and improve the Platform, remember your preferences, and measure traffic and marketing performance. We use the following broad categories of cookies:
- Essential cookies, required for core Platform functions such as login, security, and session management, and which cannot be disabled without affecting the Platform's operation;
- Performance and analytics cookies, which help us understand how Users interact with the Platform so we can improve it;
- Functional cookies, which remember preferences such as language or region; and
- Advertising and marketing cookies, which may be used to measure the effectiveness of promotional campaigns and, where applicable, to show relevant advertising.
Where required by applicable law, we will display a cookie consent notice allowing you to accept or manage non-essential cookie categories. You can also control cookies through your browser settings; disabling certain cookies may limit some Platform features.
5. How We Share Information
- With other Users, where necessary to facilitate legitimate B2B communication, such as displaying selected business contact and company information to a buyer or supplier you are corresponding with;
- With service providers who perform functions on our behalf, such as payment processing, hosting, analytics, customer support, and marketing, under contractual confidentiality and data protection obligations;
- For legal and safety reasons, where required by law, legal process, regulators, courts, customs authorities, or law enforcement, or where necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Global Trade Sourcing, our Users, or the public;
- In connection with a business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality arrangements; and
- With your consent, for any other purpose disclosed to you at the time of collection.
Global Trade Sourcing does not sell personal information to unrelated third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.
6. International Data Transfers
Because the Platform connects Users across many countries, information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries other than the country where you are located, including Pakistan and countries where our service providers operate. Where required by applicable law, we take reasonable steps to ensure such transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal and business information for as long as necessary to provide the Platform, comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and for legitimate business purposes such as record-keeping and fraud prevention. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and the purpose for which it was collected.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted to or stored on the Platform.
9. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on the laws applicable to you, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may exercise these rights, subject to applicable conditions and exceptions, by:
- updating your account information directly through your Platform account settings where available; or
- contacting us using the details in Section 13, specifying the right you wish to exercise.
We will respond to verifiable requests within the time required by applicable law. Deleting or deactivating your account does not automatically remove Content, testimonials, or communications that you have made publicly available on the Platform, or information we are required to retain for legal, security, or accounting purposes.
10. Children's Privacy
The Platform is intended for use by businesses and individuals acting in a business capacity and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have collected such information without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete it.
11. Third-Party Links
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, payment gateways, or services that are not owned or controlled by Global Trade Sourcing. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any information to them.
12. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time by posting the revised version on the Platform and, where required by law or where changes are material, by notifying you through the Platform, email, or other contact details you have provided.
